Gombe United head coach, Manu Garba has said that he is satisfied with his team’s performance in the 2-0 victory over Sunshine Stars.
The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Week Five game at the Pantami International Stadium started on a fast pace with Gombe United passing the ball around and making their intention of carrying the day clear.
Sani Sanusi broke the deadlock after an 85th minute blunder from Olorunleke Ojo, while Manir Ubale scored with a spot kick at the dying moments.
“I am delighted with the performance and the game plan worked,” Garba told Goal.
“We played some really good football and made them change their formation because we were causing them problems.
