It happened live on 13th September at De Range Hotel, Owerri in Imo State, as two bankers tied the knot.

Eberechi Ezeakachi a dazzling beauty queen, and a staff of United Bank for Africa(UBA), from Umuwada Onicha in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State. And her handsome beau Vincent a staff of Diamond Bank, from Umunuko Ukpo in Nnewi South LGA, Anambra State officially walked down the aisle today.

It was a very beautiful and memorable moment as they both expressed their love.

“My government will no longer tolerate killing, kidnapping” — President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that his government would no lnger tolerate the killings and kidnapping by hoodlums in any part of the country.

The president issued this warning when he declared open the 9th General Assembly of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, holding in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. He was represented at the event by the Minister of Interior, Abduraham Dambazau.

“I am very worried and saddened about the persistent killings and kidnappings happening in our country, especially the wastage of innocent lives in different parts of the country by whatever means it is done, particularly in Benue State. I have therefore directed that no effort should be spared in identifying and bringing to justice all those that are carrying out the acts. I have therefore directed the Chief of Army Staff to relocate to the North East to ensure that the activities of Boko Haram are stopped” he said

Nuhu Bulus of Boloji Ward in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State has killed his father, Bulus Azi.

According to the Bauchi State Police Command’s spokesman, DSP Kamal Datti, Nuhu killed his father by hitting him with a mud pot, wood and sickle.

Nuhu confessed that he had an argument with his father that degenerated and he hit him several times on the head with various objects, adding that he was intoxicated with hard drugs when he committed the offence.

Justice Tsoho, In the judgement he delivered yesterday, held that the former first lady could not sustain her claims that her fundamental human rights have been violated by the anti-graft agency.

The court also held that Patience Jonathan’s case was largely weakened by the claim of the EFCC that investigation of the alleged crime against the former first lady is ongoing and in progress. 

The anti-graft agency had, in its deposition that bogus sums of money, suspected to be proceeds of crime were lodged in the sealed bank accounts, which the former first lady claimed belongs to her.
