Note This! Nigerian Air Force holds counter terrorism stimulation exercise at Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport

The Nigerian Air Force is scheduled to simulate a counter terrorism exercise at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja from 7:30-10:30 am on Monday, 5 September 2016.
The exercise entails armed troops rappelling from a helicopter flying at low level. The exercise may also disrupt free flow of vehicular movement in and out of the Airport. Members of the public, particularly air passengers, are please advised not to panic but to go about their normal business.

China And US Ratify Climate Change Deal Ahead Of G20

China and the US have ratified the Paris Agreement on climate change, giving a boost to efforts to bring the accord into effect by the end of this year.

China’s National People’s Congress legislature voted to adopt “the proposal to review and ratify the Paris Agreement”.

That was followed by the United States shortly after President Barack Obama arrived at the G20 summit, which starts on Sunday in China.

He said the agreement may be remembered as “the moment we finally decided to save our planet”, while his counterpart Xi Jinping said the milestone marked the start of a “global government system” for climate change.

“This is not a fight that any one country no matter how powerful can take alone,” Mr Obama said of the pact.

Akeredolu wins APC ticket in Ondo State

Chief Rotimi Akeredolu is the APC candidate for the Ondo polls,a former NBA chairman. Chief Rotimi Akeredolu has emerged the governorship candidate of the APC ahead of the November 26 gubernatorial election in the state.

Akeredolu, 60, emerged the APC candidate in a keenly contested election that saw him polled 669 votes defeating 23 other aspirants. There were 2,774 accredited delegates who partook in the voting exercise. Dr Segun Abraham emerged second with a total number of 635 votes.

The club confirmed the deal this evening.David Luiz has already started getting fully ready for his former club as he changed his Twitter account to show he’s a Chelsea player. David Luiz left Chelsea in 2014 to join PSG for £50m.

The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards took place last two night and featured a night of Rihanna (literally), Britney returning to her rightful stage and Beyoncé just defining her existence on humanity!

Jokes aside in one of the better VMAs in recent years, the night saw Beyoncé take home eight moonmen to become the most decorated artist in VMA history. For the second time in her career she took home the award for Best Video of the Year for ‘Formation‘. The video also received awards for Best Pop Video, Best Direction, Best Choreography, Best Editing and Best Cinematography. ‘Hold Up‘ was crowned this years Best Female Video and just to top it of the whole ‘Lemonade‘ visual was award the Breakthrough Long Form Video! All of which is rightfully deserved!
