Don’t order execution of Reverend King, other condemned inmates- Falana to Ambode

Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has appealed to the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, not to order the execution of condemned persons that have been sentenced to death in the state.

The Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adeniji Kazeem, at a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday April 28th, disclosed that Ambode would soon sign the death warrants of the condemned inmates in the state.

EFCC operatives search Ikoyi flats owned by former governor Peter Obi, others, over seized N13bn  

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision EFCC yesterday searched the flats owned by former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, former PDP chairman Adamu Muazu, former NNPC Managing Director (Retail) Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue and others in the Ikoyi building were N13 billion was discovered last Wednesday April 12th. According to reports, even flats that are yet to be unoccupied were also searched by the antigraft agency.
