Yaya Toure will not play for Manchester City until his apologises to the club, Pep Guadiola says


Man City manager,  Pep Guadiola is asking for an apology from Ivory Coast and Man City midfielder, Yaya Toure ‘s outspoken agent, Dimitri Seluk, following his comments about him recently.

Toure, 33, has made only one appearance for City this season and was left out of their Champions League squad, this prompted a response from Seluk who said Toure had been ‘humiliated’ by his former Barcelona Coach.  Guardiola who felt Toure’s agent was being disrespectful, says he will not play Toure until Seluk apologises.

Jose Mourinho could be facing his last chance at a big club with Manchester United, says Ian Wright


Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho  could be facing his last chance at an elite club, according to Arsenal legend Ian Wright.

The Portuguese boss has seen his team lose three matches in a week, losing to Manchester City, Feyenoord and then Watford.

After an all-winning start prior to a nightmare week, the wheels appear to be coming off for Mourinho and some are questioning whether he can turn it around.

And Wright believes that if he doesn’t fix the problems at Old Trafford soon, Mourinho could find himself in managerial wilderness.

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has extended his contract with the Italian club until 2021.


The centre-back was constantly linked with a move away from the club in the summer transfer window, with Chelsea long-term admirers. Furthermore, it was reported by the Standard that the defender was keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.

But having stayed in Naples, the 25-year-old has now committed his future to Maurizio Sarri’s side, with club president De Laurentiis tweeting the news.

Iheanacho delighted at 1st Champions League goal


Manchester City Forward Iheanacho came in for Sergio Aguero to add a fourth in City’s 4-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach

The goal was scored in the 91st minute and the first Champions League goal of the Super Eagles forward.

After the game, Iheanacho on his Twitter shared his delight at his performance.

“Great result and great team performance from the team #MCFC,” he writes.

Manchester United players recently visited an old fan on his dying bed to fulfil his life-long wish


Manchester Uniteds Fan and great supporter of the club Paddy Lawler had a death wish to get a visit from Manchester United players and his granddaughter took to social media to make the appeal.

Jesse Lingard‘s cousin, Robert Kilshaw, spotted the post and set up the surprise meeting on Tuesday.


Marcus Rashford, Lingard, Ashley Young and Timothy Fosu-Mensah all visited the 73-year-old and spent half an hour with him discussing the club before the posed for photos.

He died just 45 minutes after the players left.

World football legend, Nwankwo Kanu, popularly known as “Papilo” and the entire Kanu family have been in a deep mourning after they lost their mother Susan Kanu Iheme to the untimely hands of death last Thursday.

Kanu Nwankwo spoke with and eulogised his mother, whom he
described as a great pillar of strength to the entire family.

“The loss of Mama is hard to bear. She is a rock that stood by me and all my siblings. She showedus equal love and affection, andalways prayed for each and every
one of us”.

Wenger’s combat with Jose Mourinho continues as he refuses to let Mourinho sit next to him at conference


Arsenal Manager,Arsene Wenger combat with Jose Mourinho seems like it won’t end anytime soon as the Arsenal manager refused letting Man U coach Jose Mourinho sit next to him at a UEFA coaching conference overseen by Sir Alex Ferguson during the just concluded FIFA international break.

Jose Mourinho arrived late for the conference and saw an available seat opposite Paris Saint-Germain manager, Unai Emery and Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane which was next to Wenger.

Mourinho then asked Wenger if he could occupy the space, to which Wenger replied without batting an eyelid: ‘No, it isn’t possible.’
